Description:

The BioValid is a technology developed by Serpro for generating temporary tokens from biometric data. The facial biometrics validation and proof of life eliminate the need for the citizen's physical presence, and identity authentication is done online. Commercial Boards will be able to utilize this solution and develop an entire digital company registration process with identity validation, including consultation of official databases, done without a physical token, all through a mobile device.

The BioValid enables the so-called "proof of life" using artificial intelligence technology. This functionality is crucial to prevent someone from using another person's photo to attempt identity verification through the application.

How does it work? To enhance transaction security, BioValid first requires you to take a photo in real-time following the instructions provided by the installed application on your mobile phone to confirm that it is indeed you, at that moment, requesting identity validation. This online authentication adds a layer of security for all parties involved.

Born under LGPD

Another important feature of BioValid is its alignment with the principles of the General Data Protection Law (LGPD). Each validation request comes with an authorization request for data usage in the verification operation. All authentication transactions are stored, allowing verification of service requesters through BioValid's database and providing an even higher level of security to users through traceability.

To access this service, entities or companies must adhere to the service developed by Serpro and pay based on the volume of usage within a specific period (e.g., "x" number of queries per month). For entrepreneurs, citizens, and users in general associated with entities using Serpro's developed validator, downloading the BioValid application onto their device is all that's needed.
